About The Position

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team at SRM Concrete. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations and assists with month-end close procedures Assist with preparation for audits and quarterly reporting requirements. Strong analytical abilities to resolve complex issues and provide resolution to senior management. Ability to analyze current business work flows and productivity Strong communicator with established skills in accuracy, organization and working in a high-volume dynamic environment. Team player looking to help on projects wherever needed and assist in training accounting staff Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Ensure compliance with GAAP principles Full cycle accounting experience Ability to prioritize and balance multiple job duties Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
  • 2+ years of experience with public accounting or private experience
  • Experience working with Microsoft dynamics and proficient Microsoft excel skills/
  • Quickbooks/Concur/ERP systems
  • Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly proficient with accounting software
  • Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
  • Full cycle accounting experience
  • Strong communicator with established skills in accuracy, organization and working in a high-volume dynamic environment
