Job Description: You Are A performance‑driven accounting professional who understands financial data, transactional accounting, and internal controls. You’re relationship‑oriented, detail‑focused, and comfortable working with both internal teams and an outsourced accounting partner in India. You take pride in accurate work, strong documentation, and ensuring compliance with GAAP, government regulations, and corporate accounting policies. You Will Prepare accurate, timely journal entries in accordance with GAAP and company standards Execute monthly close activities, including accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analysis Generate and post customer receivables, intercompany accruals, and reconcile related transactions Prepare property tax journal entries and account reconciliations Develop and deliver ad‑hoc financial reports and general ledger analysis Partner closely with the India‑based outsourced team on journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support Document and improve existing accounting processes Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement Support internal and external audits through data preparation and timely responses to auditor requests You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on accounting experience Solid understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting policies Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills High level of organization with the ability to manage high‑volume transactional work Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems Compensation: The wage range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 / year, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements. Location: This is a hybrid role, with 4 days in the Shelton, CT office required. (No relocation assistance offered.) Sponsorship: Must be legally authorized to work in the US. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and corporate accounting policies
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
