In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, from processing transactions and reconciling accounts to assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures. We are seeking a dedicated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a consistent on-site presence (Monday-Friday) in our Burlington, Kentucky office.

Requirements

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

Process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records.
Assist with month-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and accruals.
Maintain strong internal controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Assist the team in all items related to completing month-end deadlines which can include helping enter AP, AR & journal entries as directed by managers.
