About The Position

360 Talent Avenue is partnering with a growing and well-established organization to identify a Staff Accountant for a permanent, direct-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys being hands-on, values accuracy, and is eager to grow within a collaborative finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you’ll support core accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections, and the month-end close process. Working closely with the Controller and finance leadership, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records while helping streamline accounting processes in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2–5 years of accounting experience
Hands-on experience with AP, AR, collections, and month-end close
Solid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with experience using QuickBooks preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively

Nice To Haves

CPA or CPA-eligible status is a plus

Responsibilities

Process Accounts Payable, including invoice review, vendor reconciliations, and timely payments
Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, cash application, statements, and reconciliations
Support collections activities while maintaining positive customer relationships
Assist with the month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Reconcile balance sheet and selected income statement accounts monthly
Maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with accounting standards
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve billing, payment, and accounting discrepancies
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
