What You'll Do as a Staff Accountant: Prepare individual and business tax returns and supporting documentation. Assist with bookkeeping, general accounting tasks, financial reporting, and financial statements for clients. Collaborate with CPAs to complete client work and deliverables. Manage multiple client projects, deadlines, and priorities. Use accounting and tax software, including QuickBooks and EBMS. Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing skill development. Support strong client relationships through accurate, timely work. Our Ideal Staff Accountant: Experienced: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or recent graduate)active EA or CPA, or on track to obtain. Organized & Trustworthy: Manages multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities with accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. Communicative & Collaborative: Builds strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and team members. Inquisitive & Self-motivated: Asks questions, seeks to learn, and takes initiative in developing skills. Tech-savvy: Comfortable using accounting software, including QuickBooks and EBMS. Physical Requirement: Able to work in an office setting and climb stairs to a second-floor workspace.
