About The Position

PCG is seeking an entry-level Staff Accountant for its’ corporate operations based in Lenexa, KS. This position is responsible for the following duties: Reconcile sub-ledger accounts to general ledger for all companies. Participate in month-end close process. Journal entries and other general accounting. Research and analytical problem solving. Be detail oriented, reliable, and well organized.Ability to work independently and in a team environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Respond to Branch inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Prepare summary financial information and ad hoc reporting to management as needed. Possess good computer skills and demonstrate the ability to learn new computer functionality. Work well with others through all methods of communication. External audit assistance and preparation of schedules. Special projects as needed. Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 annualized salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • At least 1-3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant
  • Must possess advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail required
  • Effective communicator
  • Self-starter and able to prioritize

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with multiple locations preferred
  • Experience with the construction industry preferred
  • Knowledge/experience with Power BI
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365
