About The Position

Position Summary: Responsibilities include financial reporting and maintaining the General Ledger and Fixed Asset systems. Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values. 2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. 3. Assist management in review of department General Ledger and Financial Reports within the ERP system. 4. Prepare monthly journal entries using excel to upload into the ERP system. 5. Reconcile daily banking activity using reports from online banking to then upload daily journal entries to the ERP system. 6. Responsible for maintaining the Fixed Asset subledger within the ERP system. 7. Provide information and reports to Management in a timely and accurate manner when asked to do so. 8. Ensure all policies and procedures are complied with for all expenditures posted to the ERP system. 9. Reconcile balance sheet accounts using information from the ERP system to upload into the reconciliation software. 10. Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of Accounting/Financial experience or related degree preferred.
  • Excellent PC and spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 10-key by touch.
  • Strong organizational skills. Detail oriented, innovative, flexible, task oriented, and can work independently with minimal direction.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and establish priorities effectively.
  • Flexible working hours and schedule required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior gaming experience preferred.
