About The Position

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and
integrity of our financials while partnering closely with our Development team
and leadership. This is an opportunity to take ownership of full-cycle
accounting, contribute to process improvements, and deliver high-quality support
across a dynamic portfolio.

Requirements

• 2 + years of experience as a Staff Accountant or equivalent accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required
• Strong knowledge of accounting software required; MRI experience preferred

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Real Estate, Development, and/or Project Accounting considered a plus

Responsibilities

• Accounting Data & Systems: Own the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting by managing full-cycle accounting, including general ledger activity, reconciliations, budgeting, and financial analysis. Support audits, capital projects, and lease accounting while ensuring data integrity across systems.
• External Department Support: Partner with Property Managers and Business Leaders leaders to support month-end close, ensure accurate reporting, and serve as a go-to resource for accounting questions and system guidance.
• Teamwork & Internal Department Support: Collaborate across the Accounting team to meet deadlines, support shared goals, and contribute to a positive, high-performing environment while identifying opportunities to improve processes.
