About The Position

Reporting to the Cost Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant is responsible
for Cost Accounting activities including reviewing and completing cost
estimates, preparing miscellaneous journal entries and account reconciliations,
assisting with the aging inventory process, assisting with purchase order
management and other various cost accounting responsibilities. This position
works cross-functionally with business partners in other departments such as
Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and FP&A as well as some
external contacts such as auditors.

Requirements

• Proficient in Excel, Word, and able to learn other software applications
• Strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Results oriented with a sense of urgency, able to work under deadline pressures
• Excellent time management skills
• Very organized and detail oriented
• Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
• Adaptable to change
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
• Two (2) years relevant work experience

Nice To Haves

• Power BI and SAP experience a huge plus

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and execution of Costing Estimate
• Assist with Scrap Factor preparation, review and analysis
• Create and maintain Purchase Orders for Corporate profit center
• Provide support for external and internal audits
• Prepare ad hoc reports using SAP and other reporting software tools.
• Work with various business partners in Supply Chain and Commercial to process customer billbacks and assist with other aged inventory exercises as needed
