STAFF 2, ASSOCIATE ENGINEER
About The Position
Staff Associate Engineers perform professional engineering assignments not requiring licensure by the State Board of Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. The incumbent will implement components of the Stormwater Program including regulatory stormwater inspections; attending project related meetings and field reviews for compliance with regulatory commitments and requirements; contributing to review and/or development of technical reports and other documentation for compliance; coordinate with other divisions, staff, local, State, and federal agencies, and consultants to ensure regulatory requirements are met; review reports, plans, and specifications; provide technical assistance on stormwater issues for construction, maintenance and other related issues; and assist with preparation of NDOT's Annual Report.
