About The Position

What You’ll Do Partner closely with product owners and stakeholders to deeply understand business challenges and champion user experience at every stage. Develop research strategies that align with product portfolio objectives and support progress toward OKRs. Design and execute a wide range of quantitative and qualitative UX research methods—including heuristic evaluations, click tests, competitive analyses, surveys, eye‑tracking, remote moderated/unmoderated usability testing, and user interviews—to evaluate usability, comprehension, and overall satisfaction. Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights and present them effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels. Leverage analytical tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Quantum Metric) to collect data-driven insights that enhance research strategies and provide a complete understanding of user experiences. Create, update, and maintain Customer Journey Maps and Service Blueprints to help product teams identify pain points, build empathy, and stay customer‑centric. Thrive in a self-directed, agile environment while managing multiple concurrent meetings, priorities, and projects. Guide and benchmark product performance using quantitative UX metrics, regularly evaluating customer feedback to identify areas of improvement. Scale UX research through infrastructure development, education, and contributions to ResearchOps. Manage research tools, including eye‑tracking hardware, testing platforms, and participant recruitment resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Behavioral Science, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of applied UX research experience in large enterprises or highly matrixed environments.
  • Strong knowledge of user‑centered design principles and experience applying both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Proficiency with remote testing tools and platforms such as UserZoom, UserTesting, and Userlytics.
  • Familiarity with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Zeplin, Flinto, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across disciplines, products, and roles.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including setting strategies, defining measurable objectives, and delivering on deadlines.
  • Proficiency with modern analytics dashboards and tools such as Adobe Analytics and Quantum Metric.
  • Passion for educating product partners and stakeholders on the value of user‑centered research.
  • Ability to clearly articulate research findings, design recommendations, and best practices to stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills in Excel or similar tools for analyzing large datasets.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate degree in HCI, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of applied UX research experience in a portfolio‑driven or product‑based environment.
  • Experience working in the aviation industry.
  • Experience scaling research programs and building research insight repositories.
  • Experience conducting field research with unionized workforces.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in UX research and design.
  • Strong organizational abilities, including labeling, structuring, and designing complex flows and wireframes.
