About The Position

Join Amazon's dynamic environment as a Senior Supply Chain Manager with a analytical background, where you will play a crucial role in defining and building innovative products and service capabilities to reduce operational defects. As a strategic senior supply chain manager, you'll take end-to-end ownership of concession reduction by focusing on North America SSD process and identifying opportunities which will drive Concessions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, operations, supply chain, product, finance, and more. Utilize your analytical prowess to identify opportunities for operational improvements, implement scalable systems, and drive automation to enhance efficiency, with a particular focus on optimizing the physical flow and operations within the supply chain network. Whether you're managing network capacity initiatives, overseeing cross-functional programmes, or focusing on strategic projects, your impact will be visible and ongoing and contribute directly to our commitment to being the most customer-centric company on earth. To be successful in this position, you need to be comfortable working across the entire business, and be exposed to a wide range of functions from Operations, Finance, Technology, and Change management. The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal instruction and oversight, manage multiple tasks and support projects simultaneously. Maintaining your relationships with the customers in operations and within the team, while owning deliverables end-to-end is expected. Critical to the success of this role is your ability to work with big data, develop think big initiatives, communicate findings in a clear and compelling way and work effectively as part of the team, raising the bar and insisting on high standard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • 3+ years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 3+ years of corporate program management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
