Location/Division Specific Information: This position is located in Santa Clara, CA, where our dedicated team is devoted to supplying our customers with the bioprocessing equipment necessary to accomplish their scientific objectives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 10+ years of relevant supply chain experience, preferably in the life sciences and capital equipment manufacturing industry.
  • 3+ years of people leadership and development.
  • Proficiency in an Enterprise System, such as SAP, Oracle, or another major ERP system.
  • Ability to build relationships across different parts of the organization: Commercial, Marketing, Product Development, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
  • Deep knowledge of end-to-end planning processes: demand planning, supply planning, new product's introduction, material planning, manufacturing/capacity planning and IBP / SIOP processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create executable supply plans across all value streams to meet customer demand in a MTO/ETO equipment business.
  • Generate a Material Requirements Plan that supports the build plan and partner with the Procurement Team to address critical raw material constraints.
  • Develop and consistently evaluate inventory management strategies to support business objectives and minimize the risk of excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team and other functions to identify and address capacity constraints related to equipment and labor.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Manufacturing and Materials Planners to ensure high engagement and attract top talent.
  • Provide leadership and support for continuous improvement initiatives and long-term strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Facilitate Supply Review and Sales & Operations Execution Meetings to ensure clear communication of risks and opportunities.
  • Represent the Supply Chain function in performance reporting, budget management, strategy contribution, decision-making, and communications.
