About The Position

Job Description: Senior Specialist, Program Manager – Richard T. Clark (RTC) Fellowship About the RTC Fellowship The Richard T. Clark Fellowship for Global Health, established in 2012, honors the legacy of our former CEO, Richard (Dick) T. Clark, whose visionary leadership helped position our organization as a respected humanitarian change-agent on the world stage. This three-month, philanthropic leadership program allows our employees to use their skills and talents to help make a difference in the lives of others and engage in important projects that contribute to our focus on expanding access to health globally. The Fellowship strengthens NGO capacity and global health impact by aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on eradicating poverty, disease, and hunger worldwide. The strategic goals of the Richard T. Clark Fellowship: Strengthen the capacity and impact of non-governmental organizations by providing expert knowledge and strategic support from subject matter experts. Role Overview As RTC Fellowship Sr. Specialist, you will apply your experience in public health, program & project management, and leadership, to help lead the program’s day-to-day execution and ensure program success against our strategic priorities. This includes maximizing our impact on global health outcomes, supporting the development of Fellows as future leaders, and fostering collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. You will be a thought partner and catalyst for change, ideating, coordinating, and implementing plans to ensure the RTC Fellowship for Global Health provides an unparalleled and innovative professional development experience. You will report to the Lead of the Richard T. Clark Fellowship for Global Health and work closely with other strategic partners and stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred (e.g., public health, global health, business, or related disciplines).
  • 5+ years’ experience in program and project management, preferably in global health, NGO capacity building, or related sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and fostering talent development.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and structured problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including NGOs, government agencies, and cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and ethical standards.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, synthesize complex inputs, and drive execution toward shared goals.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end curriculum strategy for global health leadership, including learning objectives, core competencies, and outcomes that align with SDGs and enterprise priorities.
  • Help develop a blended learning experience (e.g., workshops, simulations, coaching, peer learning) that builds capabilities in systems thinking, cross-sector collaboration, equity-centered design, implementation science, and measurement for impact.
  • Support integrating structured reflection, mentorship, and post-engagement synthesis to convert project experiences into actionable leadership insights and enterprise-ready practices.
  • Build and manage relationships with nonprofit partners; facilitate co-creation to scope high-impact projects that address priority health challenges and strengthen NGO capacity.
  • Support the NGO selection and project refinement process, coordinating with grant management, due diligence, Global Security, and Global Employee Health to ensure responsible engagement.
  • Help establish clear project charters with defined goals, roles, milestones, and success metrics that balance learning for Fellows, value creation for NGOs, and strategic outcomes for our Company.
