About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Infrastructure Technical Lead to join our global Capital Projects IT Infrastructure team. You’ll help design and implement Information and Communications Technology (ICT) infrastructure for major capital projects—including new, state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and significant renovations—working closely with teams that value collaboration, resourcefulness, continuous improvement, and leading-edge technology. In this role, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to plan, execute, and oversee ICT infrastructure scope across large facility capital projects. You’ll have opportunities to lead the implementation of ICT infrastructure for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, contribute to our mission of delivering innovative health solutions, and grow within a culture that supports ownership and impact. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • BICSI RCDD or similar certification is an asset.
  • Familiarity with technical project management.
  • Experience in the design and build of technology rooms (Server, MDF, IDF, ISP Point of Entry/Demarc).
  • Experience with physical networking (structured cabling—backbone/horizontal/patching, switches, etc.).
  • Experience with logical networking (network architecture, segmentation, logical addressing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with wireless network design and implementation (predictive models, surveys, WAPs, etc.).
  • Familiarity with virtualized computing infrastructure (VMware ESXi clusters, VMs, etc.).
  • Understanding of the Purdue Model, OT vs. IT, and process automation.
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments, especially GxP.
  • Strong planning, organization, leadership, and communication skills; effective stakeholder management.
  • Self-managed, resourceful and adaptable; comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must be able to commute to our Wilmington location 3 days per week or as required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement ICT infrastructure solutions aligned with project schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure designs adhere to standards, guidelines, and best practices; advocate for digital-enabling ICT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate on the development of project cost estimates, schedules, and documentation deliverables.
  • Participate in the design and oversee the build-out of technology rooms.
  • Participate in the design and oversee the installation of physical networking.
  • Lead the development of logical and wireless network designs.
  • Coordinate requirements and sizing for virtualized computing clusters and virtual machines.
  • Lead selection, configuration, and installation of shop-floor hardware solutions.
  • Support requirements definition and implementation for a digital visual factory and video surveillance system.
  • Facilitate weekly status and technical meetings; maintain dashboards; present at higher-level meetings.
  • Document, track, and escalate actions, risks, issues, and challenges.
