About The Position

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Data Solutions & Engineering, you will design, build, and scale internal applications and workflow‑based solutions that improve business decision‑making and productivity across Conagra’s commercial organization. You will focus on hands‑on software development and execution, working across data, application programming interfaces, and application layers to deliver practical, user‑facing tools. You will leverage modern platforms and technologies, including artificial intelligence–enabled capabilities where appropriate, and apply cloud‑native and platform‑based development patterns to solve real‑world business problems. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy internal applications and services that support business workflows and decision‑making Own solutions end to end, from problem framing through development, integration, and deployment Build and maintain backend services and application programming interfaces that integrate data and business logic into usable tools Develop lightweight user interfaces and internal tools that enable business users to interact with data and insights Work with data platforms to access, transform, and operationalize data for application use Apply software engineering best practices to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code Partner with Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Information Technology to align with enterprise architecture and deployment patterns Deploy applications using modern development practices such as application programming interfaces, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, and cloud platforms Ensure solutions are reliable, observable, and performant in production environments Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions using modern tools, including artificial intelligence–enabled development tools where appropriate Translate technical solutions into clear business outcomes and partner with stakeholders to drive adoption Continuously improve solutions based on user feedback and evolving business needs Ingredients Required for Your Success Strong problem‑solving skills and experience partnering across technical and business teams Five or more years of experience in software engineering, application development, or related technical roles Strong programming skills in Python and or TypeScript or JavaScript Experience building and maintaining backend services and application programming interfaces Experience developing internal applications, tools, or workflow-based systems Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or Amazon Web Services Experience working with data systems such as structured query language, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, including testing, version control, and continuous integration and continuous delivery Experience integrating systems through application programming interfaces and working across multiple data sources Demonstrated track record of learning new platforms and technologies quickly and applying them in a hands‑on, practical way Exposure to artificial intelligence–enabled tools or automation frameworks is helpful but not required Experience with containerization such as Docker is helpful, but not required Familiarity with modern front‑end frameworks such as React is helpful, but not required Experience building data‑driven applications in enterprise environments is helpful, but not required Strong problem‑solving skills and experience partnering across technical and business teams Number of Days in Office: 3 #LI-Hybrid #LI-SG1 #LI-MSL Compensation Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Requirements

  • Strong problem‑solving skills and experience partnering across technical and business teams
  • Five or more years of experience in software engineering, application development, or related technical roles
  • Strong programming skills in Python and or TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Experience building and maintaining backend services and application programming interfaces
  • Experience developing internal applications, tools, or workflow-based systems
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or Amazon Web Services
