About The Position

PRISM is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Solutions Architect to support a mission-critical government program. You will be responsible for designing and securing resilient IT solutions, ensuring compliance, and driving technical innovation across on-premises and cloud (AWS GovCloud/Azure Government) environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 12 years (or commensurate experience)
• 10+ years in Enterprise IT Architecture, preferably within Federal/DoD.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Strong knowledge of DoD security (NIST, RMF, STIGs), on-prem (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Hands-on experience with tools/frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Excellent communication and ability to translate complex technical concepts for senior stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP, DoD 8570-compliant).
• Background in systems engineering or software development.
• Experience engaging directly with government/senior military leadership (Highly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Architect and Design: Lead the design of scalable, secure, and resilient IT solutions, aligning them with strategic government vision and operational needs.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to DoD cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, DISA STIGs, Zero Trust principles).
• Technical Leadership: Lead technical scoping, evaluate new technologies, and develop/present solution roadmaps and documentation.
• Automation: Drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, cybersecurity, program management) and government stakeholders.
