About The Position

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences, LLC is actively seeking a Sr Software Engineer candidate with experience in MS Power Platform and MS SharePoint to join our team and support development efforts for a government client. Position Description: The successful candidate must be knowledgeable of and experienced with enterprise-wide web application software design and development Azure environments utilizing Microsoft technologies such as Azure, MS O365, MS Power Platform, and MS SharePoint. Principal responsibilities include: Develop, test, and deploy Power Platform (such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint applications Support SharePoint 2019 (or later) and Government Community Cloud (GCC) environments Design and develop web services components for cross-application solutions Develop solutions that incorporate databases for data persistence Participate in and contribute to software development and requirements gathering, working with subject matter experts in support of enterprise application development Assist in migration efforts of all solutions and content to Microsoft Office 365 in the GCC. Provide end-user support for users of existing enterprise applications including user account management, user support requests, user training, etc. Work independently on agreed-upon deliverables Create and update system/technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer as required Coordinate and prioritize application modifications and bug fixes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or similar degree
  • 10+ years of experience developing and supporting agency-wide enterprise systems, web applications, Azure architectures and customized Microsoft solutions in Azure, MS O365, MS Power Platform, ASP.NET, SharePoint, and eAuth/ADFS/WAP systems.
  • Proven experience developing and deploying MS Power Platform and SharePoint applications
  • Extensive experience developing, administering, and using SharePoint 2019, Government Community Cloud (GCC), and SQL Server including experience with PowerShell scripts, Transact SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Microsoft .NET 6 (or more recent) software development experience
  • Experience developing services (REST and SOAP) in .NET
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with access control systems and developing role-based access systems.
  • Experience with GIT source control
  • Experience with React for front-end application development
  • Experience with MS SQL and relational database principles

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in USDA eAuth integration, ADFS 2019, and Web Server proxy preferred.
