About The Position

We are looking for a SharePoint Solutions Architect to bridge the gap between technical execution and business needs by designing scalable, secure, and maintainable SharePoint and Power Platform solutions. This is a true architecture role—not a SharePoint Administrator and not just a Senior Developer. You will act as the technical authority for SharePoint-based solutions, defining best practices, guiding solution design, and ensuring business teams leverage SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate effectively and safely. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and platform owners to architect custom SharePoint solutions powered primarily by Power Automate (Azure Logic Apps) and Power Apps, enabling automation and application development at scale while maintaining governance, reliability, and clarity. A successful candidate brings strong architectural judgment, confidence, and ownership, serving as a trusted advisor who can both design solutions and explain them clearly to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering or enterprise application development.
  • 4+ years designing and delivering SharePoint Online solutions.
  • Proven experience in solution architecture, not limited to development or administration.
  • Deep expertise in SharePoint Online architecture and customization.
  • Strong experience designing solutions using Power Automate (critical).
  • Understanding of Azure Logic Apps foundations behind Power Automate.
  • Solid background in .NET / C# for supporting services, integrations, or custom logic.
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API and REST integrations.
  • Strong understanding of governance, security, and compliance in enterprise environments.
  • Ability to clearly communicate architectural decisions to business and technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-driven) integrated with SharePoint and Power Automate.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • Strong executive presence and confidence.
  • High ownership mindset—comfortable being the “go-to” authority.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance enablement with governance.
  • Comfortable with challenging ideas and guiding teams toward better solutions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Azure services (Functions, App Services, Key Vault).
  • Experience building automation enablement frameworks for business users.
  • Experience working with financial services or private equity organizations.
  • Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure).
  • Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end architecture of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
  • Design custom SharePoint solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps as core components.
  • Define solution patterns, governance models, and architectural standards.
  • Evaluate business requirements and determine when low-code, custom development, or hybrid approaches are appropriate.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, auditable, and maintainable.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Power Automate and Power Apps best practices.
  • Architect complex Power Automate flows and Power Apps solutions that support enterprise-grade SharePoint solutions.
  • Define standards for flow design, error handling, monitoring, and performance.
  • Partner with engineering teams to integrate Power Automate with custom .NET/C# services where needed.
  • Act as a technical partner to the business, translate needs into clear automation and low-code application opportunities.
  • Drive adoption of Power Automate among citizen developers while enforcing guardrails.
  • Create a best practices playbook, reference architectures, and a demo portfolio showcasing: -What can be automated or built with Power Apps -How it should be built -What should be avoided
  • Educate stakeholders on automation capabilities, limitations, and trade-offs.
  • Review solution designs and implementations for quality and architectural alignment.
  • Mentor developers and business power users on best practices.
  • Provide clear guidance and decision-making in ambiguous or complex scenarios.
  • Bring confidence, ownership, and authority to architectural discussions.
