ABOUT THE TEAM Basis Technologies’ Social Team leverages Basis to help strategize, plan, execute, streamline, and analyze social media campaigns for agencies and brands across a variety of verticals. Always positive and eager to try new tools and tactics, their passion lies in finding unique and creative ways to meet clients’ business objectives via social media. Although many tasks are performed independently, internal collaboration and communication is critical, as they work closely with the Sales, Strategic Media Services, Investment & Operations teams. These Beeps are committed to thinking outside the box, serving as subject matter experts in the social space, supporting each other, and pushing themselves to be the best. WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE Sr Social Media Buyers are responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing paid social media investment for some of Basis’ largest managed service clients during onboarding, launch and ongoing management of campaigns. Sr Social Media Buyers contribute by:

Requirements

  • 5 years of direct experience with the daily management and execution of Paid Social campaigns across all major platforms or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, etc
  • Mastered expertise in paid social optimization, analysis and advanced activation
  • Familiarity working alongside a media planning team to recommend channel tactics and activate against strategies
  • Proven track record of exceeding paid social KPI’s
  • Ability to manage a heavier and more complicated workload under tight turnaround times
  • Adaptability and flexibility with strong attention to detail
  • Can show examples of issue resolution, process improvements
  • Strong presentation skills and masterful performance storytelling
  • Ability to work well in a cross functional team environment
  • Solutions-oriented
  • Proficiency in Excel, PPT
  • Meta Blueprint Certification

Responsibilities

  • Stewarding our client’s Paid Social media investment across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, Pinterest and X
  • Providing thought leadership and mentorship of paid social best processes impacting workflow, performance, and client satisfaction
  • Using core knowledge and on-the-job training of social media to propose strategic tactics that meet client’s objectives and KPIs
  • Working independently or with Associate and Social Media Buyers to develop campaign builds, launch and QA
  • Reviewing campaigns daily to monitor pacing, audit performance, and own all optimizations
  • Working alongside Basis’ internal cross-functional Operations team, Analytics team, and Digital Media Buyers and Planners to develop performance stories and ensure campaign results based on measures of success
  • Testing beta opportunities and advanced targeting tactics for education of the larger team
  • Implementing complex measurement plans, tools, and studies, and providing data-driven recommendations to drive performance
  • Developing relationships with engine and technology partners to act as an ambassador for the Social team
  • Identifying and documenting new processes, workflow modifications and best practices to drive effectiveness among the Buying team, in partnership with Directors and VPs
  • Actively troubleshooting technical issues with creative, tactics, URL’s, pixels, ad management platforms, and other campaign settings when necessary
  • Providing education on paid social platform tools to other internal teams as needed
  • Mentoring and guiding Social Media Buyers and Associate Social Media Buyers
