Design and execute the synthesis of novel molecules within a multi-disciplinary drug discovery team. The proposal of new molecular targets, application of scientific rigor, and application of creative solutions to challenging problems are essential skills. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record and a commitment to tackling drug discovery challenges through organic synthesis. Propose hypothesis-driven target molecules based on emerging structure-activity relationships, optimizing compounds so as to impact and advance lead series Solve complex synthesis problems using state-of-the-art methodology and collaborate with colleagues to enable team productivity. Maintain high level of expertise through familiarity with scientific literature. Use strong communication (both verbal and technical) and interpersonal skills to communicate objectives and results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years’ experience OR Master’s degree and 6 years’ experience OR PhD and 2 years’ experience
