About The Position

We currently have a need for a Sr Sales Specialist within our global team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about a career in sales. This is an enterprise sales position where the selected candidate will be focused on driving business objectives to obtain commercial targets within defined commercial accounts. While working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, you will be challenged with proactively searching for leads and generating sales to help continue to develop this fast-growing business unit. This is a team-oriented group that promotes innovative thought and idea sharing Corporates – Global Accounting Firms – Senior Sales Specialist (Legal) sells to the Global Accounting Firms globally. The key areas of responsibility are: Selling legal solutions including Westlaw, Practical Law, Clear, CoCounsel Legal, Legal Tracker, and HighQ into the Global 7 Accounting Firms Finding new sales opportunities through a deep understanding of both each client’s business and the propositions that Thomson Reuters offers Working with the Global Key Account Director for each account to contribute towards the account strategy About the Role : In this opportunity you will: Prospect to potential clients, presenting a business case for our products that fits with each client’s needs Identify and prospect potential clients, tailor business cases and value propositions to their needs. Manage and respond to RFIs/RFPs and other prospect inquiries. Schedule and deliver product demos; partner with solutions consultants and account teams to support the full sales cycle. Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, technical teams, and end users to generate and advance leads. Maintain current knowledge of products, sales programs, and marketing initiatives to support effective selling. Negotiate and close sales contracts; drive segment revenue targets and growth through cross-sell/up-sell. Provide accurate revenue/unit forecasting and CRM updates; share market/competitor insights and communicate proactively across internal stakeholders. Build and maintain strategic account plans for key target customers

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in similar functions, including complex enterprise level solution sales experience
  • 5+ years' experience working with large, global software customers, experience working with or selling to global accounting firms is a plus
  • Generative AI fluency: Demonstrated understanding of Generative-AI solutions and the ability to communicate their value clearly to diverse audiences.
  • End-to-end sales leadership: Proven ability to lead opportunities from conception through close, driving alignment and execution across cross-functional teams.
  • Consultative selling & negotiation: Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills; able to develop and execute medium-to-long-term strategies with highly strategic clients.
  • Technical/business stakeholder engagement: Comfortable with technical concepts and able to effectively engage both business and technology stakeholders to shape solutions.
  • Communication & credibility: Excellent phone, writing, and presentation skills; demonstrated strength in stakeholder/relationship management, influence, and credibility building internally and externally.
  • Performance, pipeline, and adaptability: Consistent track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets, building and reporting on pipeline, and thriving in agile, dynamic, team-based, entrepreneurial environments

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years' experience working with large, global software customers, experience working with or selling to global accounting firms is a plus
