The Senior R&D Engineer will contribute to the development and integration of advanced medical devices for peripheral interventions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving technical excellence, and ensuring product designs meet the highest quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • BS or above in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of engineering experience with a bachelor's degree OR 4+ years with a master's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience with Medtech device design and development.
  • Previous experience with product integrations
  • Expertise to provide technical leadership with product strategy - design and development.
  • Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, collaborative mindset, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Contribution: Participate in the design and development of medical devices, ensuring they meet user needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and Development: Conduct feasibility studies, develop prototypes, and perform testing and validation to optimize product designs.
  • Problem-Solving and Compliance: Investigate failure modes, perform root cause analyses, and develop solutions to address technical challenges. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, to ensure successful product development and integration.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review engineering documentation, including technical reports, design history files, and regulatory submissions. Present project updates and technical insights to stakeholders.
