The Financial Services and Solutions (FSS) organization aims to be a strategic business partner, creating value, providing efficiency, and ensuring compliance for McKesson. In FSS, a Sr. Project Manager will gain exposure to all McKesson businesses and foster collaborative relationships with internal and external customers. This role is for a results-oriented individual to manage the master data program for a large ERP transformation, ensuring alignment with key objectives, timeline, issue tracking, and communication of program status.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant PM experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution and successful delivery of highly complex programs across FSS such as technology implementations, and transformations.
  • Ensure adherence to project goals, timelines and budget – primarily supporting the business in remaining focused on high priority capabilities and managing scope-creep with a rigorous strategic approach.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, within budget and in accordance with agreed upon quality standards.
  • Prepare regular project status reports, deliver progress updates to stakeholders, lead SteerCo meetings and maintain project documentation and artifacts as needed.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenditures and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle by leading the business towards effective prioritization.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact project success.
