About The Position

LCRA's Operations Project Management Office is seeking a Project Manager to lead projects that build the essential infrastructure of Texas. Requirements

• Nine or more years of experience in project controls, project management or work package management, including two or more years managing projects (including managing scope, schedule and budget) or other relevant experience.
• A degree(s) in project management, business, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
• Driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Primavera P6 for managing project schedules.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote collaboration within project teams and represent Operations Project Management positively and with professionalism.
• Manage projects including project scope, schedule and budget. Ensure that projects are managed within the requirements of the Operations Project Management Governance Document, and all Board and Financial requirements.
• Minimize project exposure to risks by identifying and managing project risks. Create, implement, and track mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Act as primary contact for stakeholders and for project team members. Document action items and bring them to resolution.
• Keep stakeholders informed of progress against agreed upon scope, schedule and budget.
• Travel independently or with a small team to project sites as needed.
