Lucid is seeking a Senior Program Manager to be a pivotal part of the supplier industrialization team. This role involves leading supplier deliverables, ensuring they align with the objectives and timelines set by the vehicle program management group. The Senior Program Manager will proactively address contingencies, providing guidance and support to guarantee the consistent delivery of high-quality products on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5 - 7 years of automotive program management experience in any of these commodities: Stamping, Casting, Injection molding or Interiors (Interior cabin, passive safety, seats).
  • Proven experience in verbal and written communication, collaboration, technical writing and presentation.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a dynamic/start-up environment is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Smartsheet, SAP, JIRA, Tableau, and any costing software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross‑functional teams to achieve program objectives, proactively managing risks and resolving issues that could impact program launch timelines.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines and KPI dashboards, ensuring clear data visualization and compelling storytelling that enable executive‑level decision‑making.
  • Conduct regular data compliance audits and drive disciplined follow‑up with Supplier Industrialization Engineering (SIE) and key stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide hands‑on training, coaching, and continuous support to stakeholders on KPI dashboards, metrics usage, and data interpretation.
  • Contribute to both strategic and tactical planning discussions, translating business objectives into executable program plans.
  • Track and drive execution against key milestones and deliverables to ensure on‑time, high‑quality program launches.
  • Engage directly with suppliers to review program timelines, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and challenge processes, assumptions, and delivery plans as needed.
  • Exercise sound judgment to determine when issues can be resolved within the working team versus when escalation is required, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Influence cross‑functional partners to identify data‑driven improvement opportunities that drive measurable business impact.
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of Supplier Industrialization Engineering (SIE) programs, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging tools, and regulatory considerations related to program management and supplier industrialization.
  • Travel domestically and internationally, including short‑notice and extended assignments, to support manufacturing and supplier readiness activities.
