About The Position

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead strategic programs while managing enterprise-wide material planning operations. This role will drive cross-functional initiatives while ensuring optimal material flow and inventory management across the organization. Requirements

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Responsibilities

  • Have strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion
  • Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders and senior management
  • Forecast material requirements and own schedule management for assigned categories
  • Be proficient at managing change implementation for multiple programs
  • Coordinate with global commodity managers and internal teams to ensure material availability
  • Manage crisis situations related to material shortages or excess inventory
  • Develop and track program KPIs, metrics, and deliverables
  • Lead supply chain digitalization and automation initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain
  • Be flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and enjoy working with ambiguity
