Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Manufacturing Quality at Amazon Leo, you will coordinate cross-functional teams to implement quality systems for satellite manufacturing. You will support quality standards across our manufacturing ecosystem while collaborating with engineering, operations, and external partners to ensure our satellites meet reliability requirements.

  • Implement manufacturing quality systems across Amazon Leo's satellite production
  • Monitor quality metrics, collect data, and perform analysis to identify improvement opportunities
  • Execute quality control processes for complex aerospace manufacturing operations
  • Work with engineering teams to implement technical requirements into manufacturing quality specifications
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure component quality meets Amazon Leo standards
  • Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain documentation for quality processes that meet aerospace industry standards
  • Support quality engineers and contribute to team development
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
