The production engineer will be responsible in developing test software/module to analysis/validate functionalities of SMC server/storage products. This individual will need to communicate with OEM customers to support test software related field as well as working with R&D team to fix post launched product for improvement. The individual will also need to continue to boost SMC products’ functional coverage in order to compete with our competitors. The ideal candidate will need to keep all software align with industrial latest technology road map.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; MS degree is preferred
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with storage, server and cloud industry is a plus
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in Python under Linux is a plus
- Experience with developing system level test module/software
- Experience with networking, SQL is a plus
- Excellent communication skill to all levels within cross functional teams
- Active/proactive learner align to the latest new technology driven
Responsibilities
- OEM product engineering support
- Develop test software/module to validate server/storage functionality
- Sustain/improve test software/module to align with industrial latest technology road map
- Work closely with RD and QA team on new product introduction
- Work with cross functional teams to develop test module
- Provide high level technical training QA and production teams
