As a Sr Product Owner supporting the Development Platforms Teams, you’ll help lead the strategy and delivery of developer tooling that powers Southwest’s AWS cloud environments at massive scale—supporting 800+ accounts and more than three million infrastructure resources. Serving as the Customer proxy, you’ll partner closely with Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering Teams to define and prioritize the backlog, co‑develop the roadmap, and guide products from concept through delivery across multiple Agile Teams. You’ll translate platform strategy into clear requirements, drive integrated solutions that improve the developer experience, and incorporate data‑driven insights and AI‑enabled capabilities into the product vision. By mentoring Product Owners, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring technical integrity throughout delivery, you’ll help enable faster, higher‑quality software development and strengthen the foundation that supports Southwest’s technology at scale. Additional details This role is offered as a remote workplace position, which may require travel for trainings, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time may be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus. Please note, while this is a remote position, there is limited group of states or localities ineligible for Employees to regularly perform their work off-site. Those ineligible locations are: Alaska, Delaware, New Jersey, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming, and Puerto Rico.
