About the role: eBay is seeking an experienced and dynamic product marketer to drive inbound product marketing and outbound go to market strategy dedicated to our Collectibles initiatives like Authenticity Guarantee, PSA Vault, and more for categories like trading cards, sports memorabilia, comics, coins and more. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the eBay marketing team to support initiatives for our Collectibles portfolio, including Goldin Auctions. This role will partner cross-functionally with product, design, research, marketing, communications, and market teams. To be successful, you should have expertise in developing value propositions, positioning, and generating demand for products and tools, ideally in an ecommerce or marketplace setting.The ideal candidate will have a passion for and a deep understanding of the Collectibles market to drive engagement, sales, and foster our community of enthusiasts.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3 years leading company wide initiatives
  • Strong track record of developing product and go to market strategies at ecommerce companies or within vertical-focused organizations
  • Solid experience with GenAI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, LangChain), with at least 1–2 years applying them to real-world workflows or products
  • Proven ability to drive innovation, execute projects with excellence
  • Success working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills
  • Comfort with scripting, prototyping, and building fast with Python, Streamlit, or internal equivalents.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience with customer research techniques

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the product value proposition narrative, the go-to-market strategy, and messaging for Collectible initiatives, ensuring buyers’ shopping experience and seller success on the platform.
  • You will approach go-to-market in a holistic manner to ensure buyers and sellers are delivered relevant and meaningful communications at the right time and place across in-product, marketing, PR, market communities, sales, customer service, and partner messaging.
  • Influence product roadmaps by synthesizing market, customer and competitive insights, build audience segmentations and opportunity sizing.
  • Create customer feedback loops during the product and marketing development process to refine the product narrative and value proposition articulation.
  • Develop product value propositions, narratives, customer messaging, naming and external facing proof points.
  • Drive the go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution for product launches.
  • Track customer engagement, product adoption, and business success.
  • Partner across in-product content, marketing, PR communications, customer service, in-market teams, and sales channels to generate demand.
  • Identify internal product market fit tracking metrics, and synthesize customer feedback across the product life cycle: development, launch, and optimization / expansion.
  • Define key metrics for success, and track progress against goals for the product launches and in-market growth adoption of existing products or services.
