The Enterprise Product & Strategy organization drives speed to market, value creation, and innovation across Target’s digital and operational experiences through effective product strategy, coordinated planning, and enterprise-wide collaboration . Within this organization, the Enterprise Product Practice team advances Target’s product model by enhancing the tools, frameworks, and resources that help product teams work efficiently, achieve outcomes, and elevate their day-to-day experience. As the Sr. Product Manager responsible for Product Tooling, y ou will lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the tools that power Target’s enterprise product ecosystem. You will focus on simplifying how product teams plan, prioritize, collaborate, and measure impact across portfolios. Using a customer-centric and data-informed approach, you will identify and validate problems, assess opportunities, and guide the evolution of enterprise tooling to support Target’s product operating model. You’ll use G enerative AI and other emerging technologies to deliver near-term improvements while shaping a long-term vision that strengthens how Target plans, builds, and measures s peed to value . Your work will enable thousands of team members to operate with clarity, alignment, and visibility throughout the product lifecycle. Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of product management experience
  • Advanced AI and GenAI proficiency and a well-informed perspective on how to use these technologies to foster product excellence is for this role
  • Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams
  • Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)
  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute product strategy, set measurable goals, and deliver outcomes that improve user experience and operational efficiency
  • Ability to lead a body of work with cross-functional partners
  • Strong communication , storytelling, and facilitation skills that allow you to influence cross-functional partners and stakeholders and translate concepts easily across levels and functions

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of enterprise product management tools and integrations that support strategic planning, portfolio management, delivery tracking, outcome measurement , insight generation , and intake management .
  • Collaborate with product teams as well as design , engineering , and product leaders across the enterprise to define use cases, prioritize enhancements, and ensure alignment to Target’s product operating model and Enterprise Product & Strategy goals.
  • Drive strategic adoption of Generative AI and emerging technologies by identifying promising use cases and validating them through hypothesis-driven experimentation.
  • Own the roadmap for core tooling capabilities, ensuring clarity of purpose, alignment with enterprise planning cycles, and measurable impact on team performance.
  • Support adoption and change management efforts to drive engagement, training, and awareness of new product management capabilities.
  • Drive adoption and continued use of product tools across the enterprise.
  • Use analytics, feedback, and qualitative insights to measure effectiveness and inform future enhancements.
