About The Position

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health. We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us. Meet the team: Join Dexcom’s Product Management, End-to-End Experience Team — shaping how diabetes care is delivered across the full patient and provider journey. For this role, your center of gravity is the Primary Care Provider (PCP) experience: helping Dexcom better serve the clinicians who are increasingly central to expanding CGM access for people with Type 2 diabetes. As CGM coverage expands, more PCPs will be asked to identify appropriate patients, prescribe confidently, explain value simply, and support ongoing renewal and use — often within short visits and high-volume workflows. This role is focused on understanding where that experience breaks down, which friction points matter most, and what outcomes Dexcom should drive to improve confidence, prescribing success, and long-term patient retention. This role is intentionally focused on problem discovery and outcome definition. You will partner closely with solution teams to clarify the why, define success, and provide evidence that informs what gets built — while solution discovery and delivery remain the responsibility of those teams. You’ll work at the intersection of provider needs, patient outcomes, and business performance, translating insight into clear priorities that help Dexcom win in a rapidly expanding market. This is an exciting role for someone who is deeply curious about provider behavior, motivated by measurable impact, and energized by ambiguity. You’ll help shape an AI-forward, well-instrumented product practice by ensuring the right signals are in place to learn quickly, improve decision quality, and define the highest-impact problems to solve across the PCP journey.

Requirements

  • You are deeply provider- and customer-driven. You care about understanding what PCPs need to confidently adopt and support CGM, and you translate those insights into high-priority problems worth solving.
  • You are a strong problem framer. You excel at defining the right problem, separating symptoms from root causes, and aligning stakeholders on the “why,” success measures, and tradeoffs.
  • You think in outcomes, not features. You naturally frame work in terms of measurable impact on provider behavior, business performance, and patient retention rather than solution ideas.
  • You integrate signals to drive clarity. You are signal-hungry and combine qualitative insight, quantitative data, operational inputs, and market context to prioritize confidently.
  • You understand complex workflows. You are comfortable working in regulated, cross-functional environments where provider, patient, operational, and reimbursement dynamics intersect.
  • You think in systems. You can connect friction across journeys, channels, and teams, understanding how upstream provider confusion or effort can create downstream patient drop-off.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and influence. You thrive in complex environments, raise the bar on discovery quality, and build alignment through evidence and judgment rather than formal authority.
  • You communicate with precision. You can turn messy inputs into clear narratives, concise opportunity framing, and decision-ready recommendations for both working teams and senior leadership.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 13+ years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • At this level a graduate degree may be expected with 6 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define and validate the right PCP problems to solve. Lead problem discovery across the end-to-end PCP experience, identifying the highest-impact provider, patient, and business problems before solution investment is made.
  • Drive measurable outcomes that matter. Define clear provider and business outcomes tied to prescribing success, speed to therapy, confidence in CGM use, renewal readiness, and patient retention.
  • Turn evidence into decision-ready strategy. Synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals from provider research, workflow observation, operational data, and market dynamics to produce clear opportunity framing and success criteria.
  • Clarify the PCP role in expanded Type 2 access. Identify where PCPs face friction across candidate identification, prescribing, documentation, onboarding expectations, interpretation, and renewal — and define where Dexcom can create the most leverage.
  • Enable solution teams to move faster. Translate validated problems into clear inputs such as problem statements, journey maps, evidence summaries, and outcome guardrails that shape roadmap decisions across product and platform teams.
  • Partner across the ecosystem. Work closely with Product, Research, Design, Data, Clinical, Market Access, Sales, Customer Support, Operations, and Engineering to align on the “why,” define success, and influence experience-level decisions.
  • Create visibility into provider experience health. Help establish the instrumentation, leading indicators, and learning loops needed to understand where PCP experiences break down and whether changes are improving adoption and retention.
  • Champion a systems view. Connect upstream provider friction to downstream patient consequences, recognizing how breakdowns in prescribing, education, interpretation, and renewal affect continuity of CGM use over time.
