About The Position

Safety mechanisms are essential to our vision of making Amazon's Last Mile delivery organization the world's safest. Mechanisms synthesize on-road signals from multiple technologies and distill them into easy-to-understand unified experiences for our customers. As the single-threaded leader of the Mechanisms Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Experience, you will lead a multi-year roadmap to deliver a superior customer experience for safety signals and mechanisms that drive measurable safety outcomes. In this role, you will craft compelling PR FAQs for your product vision, deliver roadmaps for ingesting and aggregating signals into easy-to-understand experiences, and measure effectiveness. You will integrate new signals into a suite of mechanisms, generate innovative solutions for customers, and maintain a roadmap of new features. Success in this role requires the ability to solve complex technical problems with simple, innovative solutions while influencing roadmaps, aligning stakeholders, and driving cross-functional execution. This is a high-impact role with significant influence on internal stakeholders and technology, directly impacting safety outcomes for hundreds of thousands of delivery drivers. You will deliver through a cross-functional set of stakeholders with competing priorities. You will champion the DSP experience and align teams on long-term thinking and solutions that deliver on that vision. Excellent communication, strategic vision, and the ability to simplify complexity are critical for this role. Understanding system design, data flows, and how they work together is essential to success. The ideal candidate will excel at product thinking, stakeholder management and written influence, aligning cross-functional teams across tech, operations, and business leaders—even when priorities diverge. They will have a passion for the customer experience and create simplicity from complexity to focus on the most important features. They will make trade-offs, determine prioritization, and champion the customer experience. They will leverage the latest technology solutions, and seek out partners in this field to achieve innovative and delightful customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
