About The Position

As the Sr Product Manager, Developer Relations (DevRel), you will lead the strategy, execution, and adoption of technical partner integrations that drive business growth for Jewelers Mutual. This role is focused on enabling third-party developers, agencies, and partners to seamlessly integrate with JM’s products via auction platforms, marketplaces, and e-commerce carts. You will oversee our public APIs, the development of SDKs, embeddable widgets, and the creation of developer-facing documentation and resources. You’ll work closely with strategic partners, engineers, product designers, and business teams to accelerate integration adoption and unlock new growth opportunities. In this foundational role, you’ll shape the development of the DevRel function at JM, ensuring integrations are easy to adopt, well-supported, and deliver measurable business impact. Requirements

5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on third-party integrations, APIs, or developer platforms.
Proven ability to drive adoption and business value through partner integrations and developer engagement.
Strong technical understanding of APIs, including REST, authentication standards, and developer tooling.
Experience with API management and working with cloud technologies and third-party integrations.
Familiarity with tools like RESTful APIs, and OAuth is a plus.
Strong collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions and measure the success of integrations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage multiple integration projects in a fast-paced environment, particularly with a focus on third-party vendor relationships.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with marketplaces, ecommerce platforms, or API-driven integrations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Define Product Strategy: Lead the strategy, vision, and roadmap for third-party integrations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and partner needs. Collaborate with engineers, product designers, and stakeholders to communicate and execute integration priorities.
Manage Product Development: Oversee the product development lifecycle from discovery to launch, ensuring that integrations (such as with Auctions platforms, marketplaces, and e-commerce carts) are well-defined, tested, and successfully implemented.
Prioritize Features & Improvements: Evaluate trade-offs and prioritize integration initiatives based on user feedback, business impact, and data insights, with a focus on increasing successful third-party integrations. This includes enhancements like the developer portal to centralize API documentation and streamline onboarding.
Drive Adoption: Make it easier for partners, agencies, and third-party developers to integrate with Jewelers Mutual’s products, driving adoption and creating seamless integration experiences.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, design, and platform teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment on integration projects. Ensure that all technical aspects, including public APIs, SDK development, and embeddable solutions, meet developer needs.
Conduct Research & Gather Insights: Gather feedback from partners and developers to identify integration opportunities and areas for improvement. Leverage this information to refine integration offerings and prioritize high-impact features.
Monitor Product Performance & Define Success Metrics: Use analytics and KPIs to track integration performance and adoption rates, defining success metrics that focus on increasing the number of successful third-party integrations. Make data-driven decisions to improve integration offerings and drive platform success.
Enhance User Experience: Collaborate with designers to ensure that integrations are seamless and improve the developer experience. Focus on creating comprehensive public APIs, sample code, and other resources to ensure smooth onboarding for developers.
