We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Product Manager to lead the strategic evolution of our Commercial Data and Marketing portfolio. In this role, you will be the primary architect for how we source, validate, and activate commercial insights to drive value for our enterprise clients. With 7 –10 years of experience in product management, you possess a rare blend of technical depth regarding data ecosystems and the executive presence required to manage complex internal and external stakeholder landscapes. You don’t just manage a roadmap; you define the "value narrative" for our commercial data offering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered; Product Management certifications is a plus
  • 7-10 years of related product management experience in a product-led organization required, as is experience leading in a Product Management environment in Technology, Financial Services or Data & Analytics
  • Exposure to cloud-based products and services, demonstrating an understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and deployment models strongly desired
  • Experience writing detailed product requirements is fundamental and required and must demonstrate a solid understanding of product design, commercial model and packaging discussions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead efforts in a highly matrixed environment
  • Team lead experience or demonstrated capabilities strongly desired
  • Experience in Product tools required (Aha, JIRA, Figma)
  • Experience demonstrating Design Thinking for innovation is a plus (Use creative design thinking to develop innovative business solutions. Apply creative and analytical tools to develop real solutions for real needs, including personas, empathy mapping, prototyping and iteration models.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of customer needs through market and industry research and analysis of competitors
  • Can use strong knowledge of competitive landscape to anticipate, articulate and drive high-potential opportunities that demonstrate competitive advantage
  • Is capable of setting the vision and ensure its alignment with strategy and goals
  • Interact with key decisions-makers within own function and across related functions to successfully navigate Equifax’ organization
  • Has managed executional rigor to deliver product efforts on time to meet market demands

  • The Veteran Strategist: You have 7–10 years of product management experience, specifically within data-intensive industries (FinTech, MarTech, or Credit/Risk).
  • The Data Expert: You understand the nuances of commercial data structures, identity resolution, and the technical challenges of maintaining high-accuracy datasets at scale.
  • The Influencer: You are as comfortable presenting to C-suite executives as you are diving into technical specs with engineering and pre-sales.
  • The Growth Catalyst: You have a proven track record of taking under-optimized products or relationships and revitalizing them through strategic intervention and improved collateral.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Data Architecture: Define and execute the "field-level" strategy for our core commercial datasets. You will identify high-priority data attributes, assess their market importance, and ensure our data model meets the evolving needs of the modern enterprise.
  • Sourcing & Innovation: Lead the "Build vs. Buy" analysis for data acquisition. You will evaluate external sourcing options against internal investment opportunities to maximize data accuracy and coverage.
  • Market Positioning & Value Narrative: Translate complex data capabilities into compelling value propositions. You will deeply understand our customer personas—who they are and what they need—to ensure our product market fit is unrivaled.
  • Ecosystem Integration: Act as a champion for our proprietary identity and linking technologies. You will spearhead initiatives to better connect individual-to-business data, ensuring a seamless view of the commercial landscape.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Drive an "Internal/External Relationship Repair & Growth" campaign. You will work closely with Pre-Sales and Go-To-Market teams to ensure our product collateral is elite and that our sales engine is fully enabled.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish a rigorous "Product Health" cadence, including quarterly business reviews and performance check-ins to ensure the portfolio is hitting both technical and commercial KPIs.
