About The Position

We’re looking for problem solvers, innovators, and dreamers who are searching for anything but business as usual. Like us, you’re a high performer who’s an expert at your craft, constantly challenging the status quo. You value inclusivity and want to join a culture that empowers you to show up as your authentic self. You know that success hinges on commitment, that our differences make us stronger, and that the finish line is always sweeter when the whole team crosses together. Alteryx is searching for a Sr. Product Manager. This position is remote-friendly. Position Overview: We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager, Accessibility to own accessibility outcomes at scale by making accessible development the default across our SDLC. This is not an advisory role—you’ll have the authority to set direction, define standards and quality bars, make tradeoffs, and drive measurable improvement across teams. You’ll combine deep accessibility expertise with technical product leadership to embed accessibility into tooling, CI/CD, and engineering workflows, using automation (including AI-assisted approaches) and a sustainable mix of automated and manual validation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Product Management, Technical Program Management, Platform PM, or similar role delivering developer-facing capabilities OR equivalent experience in accessibility engineering with demonstrated product ownership.
  • Deep expertise in digital accessibility, including practical application of WCAG (and related standards such as Section 508 / EN 301 549 where relevant).
  • Experience with enterprise compliance processes, procurement requirements, VPATs, or audit responses.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing automation in the SDLC (CI/CD, MR checks, test frameworks, developer tooling, release gates).
  • Ability to define and operationalize metrics/telemetry (instrumentation, dashboards, KPIs, trend analysis).
  • Proven ability to perform manual accessibility audits and produce clear, actionable remediation guidance.
  • Strong technical fluency: can partner with engineers effectively, read technical docs, reason about tradeoffs, and drive implementation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building/owning accessibility capability for a design system or component library.
  • Familiarity with common accessibility testing approaches/tools (automated + manual) and how they fit into CI.
  • Experience influencing org-wide change across multiple product teams.
  • Background in front-end engineering, QA automation, or developer experience (DX) products.

Responsibilities

  • Own outcomes: Set accessibility strategy, standards, and quality bars; define what “good” looks like; make risk-based decisions and align stakeholders.
  • Build accessibility into the SDLC: Ship a roadmap that integrates checks into merge workflows, CI/CD, and release readiness; ensure testing is actionable (high-signal, low-noise) and reduces regressions.
  • Scale with automation + AI: Experiment, iterate, and operationalize automation/AI to improve detection, triage, and remediation guidance—knowing where manual review is essential.
  • Measure and report: Establish KPIs/OKRs and automated tracking (coverage, severity, trends, time-to-fix, regression rate); deliver dashboards teams and leaders use.
  • Provide expert validation: Conduct manual audits of critical flows, validate gaps automation won’t catch, and translate findings into engineer-ready remediation and system-level improvements.

Benefits

  • A monthly Connectivity Plus stipend of $150 to support remote work-related expenses
  • An annual $200 home office reimbursement
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid parental leave, caregiver leave, and flexible time off
  • Mental health support and wellness reimbursement
  • Career development and education assistance
