Moog’s Fluids Controls Group leads multi-disciplinary teams to develop solutions for complex technical applications in the rapidly growing Space Sector. In this role, you will be working on a variety of development and production programs where you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, quality, and production of assigned Space products including: Rocket engine components and fluid control devices for bi-propellant, mono-propellant and cryogenic rocket engines Valves for environmental control and life support on crewed space vehicles High performance fluid control valves and systems for other space applications

Requirements

• Have Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or comparable field of technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, 8 years of experience preferred
• Have proven ability in writing detailed work instructions.
• Have a deep understanding of pneumatics, pressurized systems and relevant valve experience.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with manufacturing, assembly and test teammates.
• Have self-starting instincts, solid analytical skills, and a strong sense of ownership for responsible products.

Responsibilities

• Provide assembly/test instructions, training and monitoring to maintain production.
• Assure and maintain design integrity, producibility and quality in development and production products.
• Develop and improve tools, fixtures and test equipment.
• Responsible for engineering analysis to assess non-conformances or technical issues that occur during assembly and test.
• Lead RCCA analyses that ensure long-term solutions to prevent recurring problems.
• Lead customer presentations or technical review meetings.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to work through roadblocks and ensure on-time delivery of hardware.
• Participate in hands on prototyping of new products during the development phase working closely with the design team.
• Mentor and coach other product engineers within the group.
