About The Position

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges. The AMER Industries and Solutions Team consists of Industry domain specialists, who drive the regional execution in the Americas (USA, Canada, LATAM) of the industry partner strategy to grow the AWS business through partners. As the AMER Industry Partner Development Specialist (PDS) for Advertisement and Marketing (ADMK), you will drive both ADMK-specific and cross-industry go-to-market strategies engaging CMO buyer personas. In this role you will be owning & managing the execution plan with partners, driving go to market and building deep execution capability and capacity through strategic industry partners. You will possess the deep industry background, consulting experience that enables you to engage at the CXO level with the line-of-business (LOB) customers and partners. You will demonstrate credibility as an industry expert, and interact with partners, enterprise customers and AWS Global sales/field representatives to own, shape and execute the industry go to market with partners delivering business outcomes for customers. The position also requires a strong technical acumen, along with working knowledge of the Advertisement and Marketing landscape. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about new go-to-market business models, solutions, and relevant partner engagement to help build and convey compelling value propositions for AWS customers, through AWS Partners. You should also have a proven track record of influencing innovation through partners, with prior solution evangelization, and program successes. 10+ years industry work experience, including a Line of Business (LoB) leadership role within the relevant industry is strongly preferred. Additional experience in consulting or business development, specifically within the industry domain is also preferable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
  • 7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • 7+ years of experience in the Advertisement and Marketing industry, with demonstrated ability to solve customer needs with technology

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of Advertisement and Marketing industry experience, including Line of Business (LoB) leadership role within the relevant industry
  • Demonstrated ability to engage C-suite Line of Business leaders (CMOs, CAIOs, CIOs etc.) and translate business outcomes into technical solutions
  • Experience selling enterprise software, cloud-based applications, or Data & AI technologies directly and through consulting/technology partners
  • Consulting or business development background within the industry domain
  • Experience building and scaling partner communities to drive customer outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the AMER Advertisement and Marketing partner go-to-market strategy to expand, build, and grow a set of partners with Advertisement technology (AdTech) and Marketing Technology (MarTech) specialization
  • Lead cross-industry go-to-market that engage Chief Marketing Officer buyer personas beyond Advertisement and Marketing industries, executing scalable GTM strategies for key use cases/solution areas specific to industry
  • Be the industry thought leader, and share insights on business trends, growth areas, including AWS focused Partner capability and capacity
  • Work with new and existing strategic partners (across consulting, technology and startup) to expand AWS Industry practice by executing industry aligned go-to-market motions at scale
  • Drive go-to-market scale with partners through incorporation of best practices and repeatable mechanisms across AMER customers
