The Senior Supervisor of Nursing is responsible for providing high‑quality professional nursing care and leading the occupational health programs at an assigned facility. This role oversees the implementation and maintenance of facility‑level occupational health policies, procedures, and nursing practices within the appropriate scope. Key responsibilities include managing a comprehensive injury and illness prevention and early‑intervention program; overseeing workers’ compensation processes; and ensuring all reporting and recordkeeping meet OSHA, state, company, and legal standards. The Sr. Supervisor also participates in facility management meetings to deliver health‑related updates, supports safety and ergonomic initiatives, develops and delivers health education programs for Team Members, and maintains strict confidentiality in all matters. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse is required
  • 2 years management experience and knowledge of occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and independent decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Physical requirements include walking through the plant to ensure team member and supervisor compliance with prescribed modified restricted duty requirements
  • Assessing a Team Member in a swift manner and performing CPR if needed
