About The Position

This position is responsible for entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Requirements

Prior experience is not required
Must have effective communication skills and be able to work in a team environment
Must have been in their current position 90 days to transfer to another shift, line, or department; no time in seat requirement for demotions on the same shift
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment

Kneeling

Reaching
Lift, push and carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on area ranging from 15 – 50 pounds)
Work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Be cross trained and moved to other areas as needed
Stand for 8 – 12 hours per day on hard floors in extreme hot or cold environments ranging from 50 to 120 degrees
