About The Position

An engineer/analyst in this position is expected to be self-motivated, possessing strong written and verbal communications skills, and support or lead the following events/items including: Support system safety engineering activities across all phases of missile system development, integration, test, production,, and fielding. Perform and document hazard analyses including Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA). Ensure compliance with MIL-STD-882E and other applicable DoD and Army safety standards. Develop and maintain Safety Assessment Reports (SARs), Safety Verification Plans, and Risk Acceptance documentation. Collaborate with design, test, and integration teams to embed safety requirements into system architecture and operational concepts. Support Safety Release processes for test events, including live-fire and flight testing. Interface with Army safety boards, review panels, and Joint Weapon Safety Working Groups. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action planning for safety-related incidents or anomalies. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and have a security clearance. Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have a security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree and 15 Years Experience
  • Master's Degree and 12 Years Experience
