About The Position

This is where your work makes a difference. At Baxter, we believe every person—regardless of who they are or where they are from—deserves a chance to live a healthy life. It was our founding belief in 1931 and continues to be our guiding principle. We are redefining healthcare delivery to make a greater impact today, tomorrow, and beyond. Our Baxter colleagues are united by our Mission to Save and Sustain Lives. Together, our community is driven by a culture of courage, trust, and collaboration. Every individual is empowered to take ownership and make a meaningful impact. We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results. Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. Your Role at Baxter This role is a senior finance leadership position supporting Baxter’s Global Front Line Care (FLC) business — a $1.2B division with R&D teams across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. You’ll be the finance lead responsible for helping the organization make smart, high‑impact decisions about which products to invest in, which projects to prioritize, and how to allocate resources across six global R&D sites and twenty product lines. You’ll own the financial planning and analysis for all Front Line Care (FLC) R&D and Sustaining Engineering activities, including the annual operating plan, long‑range plan, forecasting, and portfolio reporting. You’ll also play a key role in evaluating new product launches, shaping investment strategy, and supporting M&A activity — including due diligence and integration work. This is a highly visible role that partners closely with senior leaders across R&D, Marketing, Business Development, and the broader finance organization. You’ll be the person they rely on to translate complex financial data into clear insights, challenge assumptions, and guide decisions that drive profitable growth. The team spans multiple locations and includes finance and accounting partners in St. Paul, Bellevue, and other global sites. For someone who enjoys strategic finance, cross‑functional influence, and working at the intersection of R&D and business strategy, this role offers meaningful ownership and impact. Applicants should be located within commuting distance of either Deerfield, IL or Skaneateles, NY and work on a hybrid schedule from one of those locations.
