About The Position

The Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, under the general direction of the VP, Marketing & Brand Strategy, will collaborate closely with the bank's executive team, branch personnel, and internal and external stakeholders to create and execute effective marketing strategies across multiple channels. In this role, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing initiatives & campaigns that support the bank’s strategic priorities. This position will build, refine and execute a digital marketing strategy and will oversee the following channels: CentrevilleBank.com, digital paid media, email, and marketing campaigns embedded within iBanking (Centreville Bank’s post-login online & mobile banking). The Marketing Manager will be responsible for contributing to brand awareness, customer acquisition & retention goals.

Requirements

  • Digital Marketing Expertise
  • Deep experience leading paid digital media across multiple channels (search, paid social, display, programmatic)
  • Proven ownership of email marketing strategy and implementation, including lifecycle, triggered and promotional communications
  • Experience managing targeted one-to-one digital communications to customers (leveraging data and segmentation to optimize messaging & creative)
  • Ability to develop and execute end-to-end digital strategies in alignment with broader brand and campaign goals.
  • Performance & Measurement
  • Proven experience developing and implementing measurable digital KPIs that align with broader business goals.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret digital performance metrics, analytics and data into actionable plans for ongoing optimizations.
  • Experience building and implementing test and learn strategies to optimize digital marketing efforts.
  • Vendor & Partner Management
  • Proven experience selecting, managing and optimizing digital marketing vendor relationships.
  • Experience managing and holding multiple vendors accountable simultaneously, including: Paid Media Agencies Digital Marketing Firms Creative partners Marketing & Technology Partners
  • Leadership & Collaboration
  • Experience coaching and developing team members with less experience
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to interpret high-level business/stakeholder needs into clear

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the bank’s objectives
  • Research and identify audiences and target markets.
  • Manage agencies, external vendors/resources and strategic partners.
  • Develop project timelines/schedules and track delivery, ensuring the successful delivery of marketing deliverables.
  • Communicate marketing strategies and plans to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that our brand value and position are clear, compelling, and consistent across platforms.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry/market trends, competitor strategies, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Review existing campaigns, tactics, and technologies and make proactive recommendations for improvement.
  • Establish measurement plans that track campaign effectiveness and results.
  • Leverage data and insights to optimize and enhance marketing strategies.
  • Develop marketing materials, content and collateral.
  • Act as a brand ambassador.
  • Effectively represent and evangelize the Centreville Bank brand story at relevant engagements and events.
  • Support the tracking and efficient use of the bank’s Marketing budget.
  • Strategize with leaders across multiple functions, ensuring recommendations are strategically aligned
  • Serve as the strategic lead on digital marketing initiatives that impact multiple businesses and/or functional areas
