About The Position

Oversee the business, operational, and commercial activities of Cherokee Film Studios working with internal and external partners to drive revenue growth, operational excellence, and effective use of studio facilities and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, communications, marketing, or other related field, and six (6) to eight (8) years of experience in business operations, studio management, sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior management experience required.
  • Experience in business oversight, operations management, and revenue generation required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Apple products.
  • Working knowledge of applicable studio and asset tracking software.
  • Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent written communication, presentation, and computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, delegate responsibility, and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic oversight of studio operations including facility use, staffing, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Cherokee Film Studios, including scheduling, maintenance, and operational coordination for soundstages and support services.
  • Ensures optimal scheduling and use of studio facilities, equipment, and related services.
  • Develops and maintains operational policies, facility usage guidelines, and client procedures.
  • Ensures high standards of client service, quality control, and operational consistency across studio activities.
  • Responsible for financial performance of Cherokee Film Studios, including revenue generation, expense management, forecasting and reporting.
  • Develops and oversees sales strategies for studio rentals, production services, and related offerings.
  • Works with account executives to ensure successful client onboarding, scheduling coordination, contract alignment, and fulfillment of agreements.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders, external production partners, vendors, and commercial clients.
  • Collaborates with Cherokee Film Commission to attract and secure productions.
  • Works with Cherokee Film Institute to coordinate facility access, scheduling, and operational needs for educational programming.
  • Works closely with marketing team on promotional initiatives, sales materials, partnerships, and branding initiatives for Cherokee Film Studios.
  • Implements strategies to support long-term growth and success across the Cherokee Film ecosystem.
  • Supervise/manage a department and have authority over hiring/termination/performance decisions.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
