You will determine methods and procedures for new assignments, often resulting in global process improvements. Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications: Senior Manager, Sales Training & Enablement Sales Training Center of Excellence (COE) Overview The Senior Manager, Sales Training & Enablement is a strategic leader within PayPal’s Sales Training Center of Excellence, responsible for accelerating sales effectiveness across our global field organization. This role designs and develops scalable world-class sales training and enablement programs that empower PayPal’s sales teams to win in a dynamic, highly competitive payments and commerce ecosystem. Partnering closely with Sales Leadership, Product, Marketing, Operations, and People teams, this leader ensures sellers are equipped with the capabilities, tools, and customer-centric mindset needed to drive growth, adoption, and long-term customer value across PayPal’s portfolio of solutions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or sales effectiveness roles, with at least 5+ years leading teams in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated success designing and scaling enterprise-level sales training programs.
  • Strong understanding of complex B2B and enterprise sales cycles and modern sales methodologies (e.g., Value based solution selling, Challenger, MEDDICC, SPIN, Sandler).
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-influence skills, with the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.
  • Experience leveraging learning management systems (LMS), enablement platforms, analytics, and content management tools.
  • Proven ability to translate PayPal’s strategic priorities into practical, measurable learning solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales training or coaching certifications (e.g., ATD, Sales Enablement Society, Korn Ferry).
  • Experience supporting global, multi-channel sales teams (inside, field, and partner-led motions).

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a global sales training and enablement strategy aligned to PayPal’s revenue priorities, go-to-market motions, and customer segments (SMB, Enterprise, Partners, and Global Strategic Accounts).
  • Own end-to-end onboarding and continuous learning programs that enable new and tenured sellers to ramp quickly, master PayPal products and solutions, and consistently apply value-based selling methodologies.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Product, Marketing, Sales Ops, People) to identify capability gaps, define learning objectives, and deliver scalable, role-based learning journeys.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing enablement team, including trainers, instructional designers, and enablement specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Measure and optimize program impact using data and insights, including certification attainment, adoption metrics, seller productivity indicators, and core sales KPIs.
  • Drive adoption and effective usage of PayPal’s sales tools and platforms, including CRM, sales engagement, analytics, and content enablement systems, through structured training and change-management practices.
  • Ensure tight alignment between training content and PayPal’s sales processes, customer journeys, and evolving go-to-market strategies.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in payments, fintech, adult learning, and enablement technology to continuously modernize the Sales Training COE.
