The Senior Manager Quality Assurance is responsible for Quality Control and Quality Assurance, assessing quality trends and driving the continuous improvement of processes and product quality performance by establishing quality metrics. They also provide oversight to confirm risk analysis, control plans, inspection, supplier quality, and metrology methodology activities are completed. Ensuring customer requirements are defined and all project deliverables meet customer, internal and regulatory requirements including all applicable standards.

Requirements

  • Business (Bachelor's degree) or Natural Sciences (Bachelor's degree)
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in people management.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in Quality.
  • OR with a Masters Degree: Minimum four (4) years of experience in people management. Minimum eight (8) years of experience in field.
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AS9100 and ISO9001 is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish key performance metrics to monitor and improve process performance
  • Manage hiring, retention, and performance management for the Quality Assurance team
  • Assess quality trends and drive continuous improvement for processes and product quality performance, including root cause corrective actions
  • Participate in new product development
  • Review and prepare test plans and test cases to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines
  • Maintain high standards of quality activities within your team by establishing best practices and habits
  • Accountability for quality control and quality assurance activities at the site
