About The Position

In Specialty Care, you’ll help deliver breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of the highest unmet needs. Candidate will be an integral component of a team responsible for supporting Specialty Pharmacy Partners to help patients start and where appropriate, stay on prescribed therapies. Individual will have a deep understanding of the challenges associated with attaining medications prescribed by Healthcare Providers (HCP) and will collaborate to develop and deploy initiatives to improve conversion and patient compliance to Sanofi related medication therapies. Key activities owned will include creating a performance insights tracker based on department priorities, filled with insights and recommendations on actions or opportunities for improvements across the department to drive a culture of continuous improvement to the patient’s experience. This individual will possess exceptional interpersonal skills to create strong relationships across all cross-functional partners ensuring clear and timely communications across stakeholders. The candidate will have a strategic mindset and provide insights delivery and recommendations for action or improvement as well as driving governance meetings critical to the delivery of PSS strategy. This person will collaborate with the Specialty Pharmacy Account Team to identify and establish action plans for additional opportunities to improve the patient’s experience. Requirements

  • 5+ years in Pharmacy environment with project management experience

  • 2+ years in driving data insights and recommended actions to improve Pharmacy or Patient Support Services Programs
  • Demonstrated ability to challenge status quo, be persistent and resilient.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate with relevant functional areas / personnel and provide account level insights to establish institutional knowledge.
  • Partner with Reimbursement and Market Access teams to attain expected results for payer plan changes/modifications.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Brand Marketing counterparts and provide specific HCP and payer insights.
  • Ensure compliance with all manufacturers’ corporate policies, applicable laws and industry standards.
  • Provide support and educate on non-promotional processes including services provided by external patient support partners (Copay, Free Drug, Quick Start, PA Support).
  • Have exceptional attention to detail in analyzing data and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Create strategic relationships with each assigned Specialty Pharmacy and effectively manage pull through performance.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy Practice Operations including understanding of the patient and HCP experience.
  • Oversight of Pharmacy Key Metrics to identify trends related to the patient journey and manage the specialty pharmacy to identify actions that can improve the patient experience.
  • Determine/Implement Pharmacy Process Improvement plans to increase the Pharmacy's Key Metric Results.
  • Guide analytical stakeholders to build/determine pharmacy performance key metrics and understand what is impacting the key metrics in partnership with trade.
  • Provide insights based on data metrics and action plans in coordination with Specialty Liaison.
  • Support Sanofi’s data aggregation partner to identify opportunities for data quality and accuracy, identify opportunities for improvement and follow through on action plans: timeliness; completeness; accuracy; etc.
  • Ability to think strategically and create HCP & Patient solutions identified through data assessment.
  • Proactively identify performance against KPI’s.
  • Lead performance monitoring with accountable owners ensuring proactive identification of potential risks to project timelines or expected impact.
  • Provide regular updates across appropriate teams.
  • Identify adherence and conversion rate opportunities to drive improvement to patient experience.
  • Develop interventions and actions that will improve overall performance and partner with analytical stake holders to develop interventions.
  • Support end to end patient journey and process flows.
  • Evaluate core vs enhanced services and provide recommendations or changes to continuously improve patient experience.
  • Synthesize data and develop narratives for different stakeholders based on performance insights
  • Manage a process to memorialize all escalations and channel information to the Quality Improvement Team for evaluation and delivering process improvements to improve the patient experience.
  • Drive the end-to-end management of key ad-hoc projects/data request/insights dashboard to support delivery of best-in-class PSS execution.
  • In collaboration with Leadership Team create a mindset of continuous improvement and execution excellence in service to the positive impact for the patient across the organization.
