About The Position

Define and build products, features, programs, and platforms that facilitate the customer journey from driving demand and adoption, creating unique customer experiences across all channels (online, offline, mobile, etc), and engaging with customers. Drive the strategy, vision, and roadmap, with a high degree of ownership over critical features and the customer experience. Evaluate industry innovations and technology platforms and translate strategic differentiators into detailed product requirements (business and technical). Lead a complex cross-functional effort end-to-end, working closely with engineering, design, operations, finance, international, and executive teams to deliver new products, features, and platforms. Demonstrate prowess in understanding and discussing architectural concepts, managing and prioritizing trade-offs, product backlogs, and new opportunities with technical team members. Own identifying opportunities, proposing new strategies, analyzing impact, gaining global consensus, and managing the global roll out of products, programs, and strategies proposed. Influence global teams to align to a long-term vision for Amazon and work directly with senior executives to drive this vision. Implement A/B testing, define clear success criteria, analyze key metrics to measure attribution / performance and recommend way forward. Use strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data (including SQL and Tableau) and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, develop business cases and challenge conventional wisdom.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Business Administration, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or another related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Business Administration, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and one year of experience.
  • Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (1) product/program management and product marketing experience in a technical industry; (2) conducting statistical analysis and performing data mining utilizing tools including, Excel, SQL, Tableau, or related business intelligence tools; and (3) developing and driving strategic initiatives within a cross-functional environment.
  • Up to 15% domestic and/or international travel may be required.
