We are seeking a seasoned and well-rounded Sr. Product Manager with deep experience in life science instrumentation platforms. This role owns the full lifecycle of our instrument platform and ensures seamless integration across hardware, consumables, assays, and software. The ideal candidate has strong experience launching and scaling complex technical products and thrives in fastpaced, crossfunctional environments. This person will serve as the product champion for the platform—defining strategy, guiding execution, influencing internal and external stakeholders, and driving commercial success. As the business grows, this role may support additional products across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • MBA or Ph.D. in Biology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Proteomics, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent industry experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in life sciences, proteomics, diagnostics, or related markets, with a proven track record of commercial success.
  • Strong experience with life science instrumentation, ideally integrating hardware, assays, consumables, and software.
  • Background in R&D or product development, with the ability to translate technical requirements into customer‑centric product features.
  • Experience with software development, informatics tools, or analytics platforms that support product and business insights.
  • Demonstrated lifecycle product management experience for complex, multidisciplinary products.
  • Proven ability to drive adoption of advanced technology platforms in emerging or growth‑stage markets.
  • Strong technical and business acumen- business modeling, pricing strategies, market analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and power point presentation skills —with the ability to translate complex science into clear, compelling messaging and to persuade stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, collaborate, and inspire cross‑functional teams in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with high-plex immunoassays, NGS-based proteomics, or related multi-omics platforms.
  • Strong network within neurodegeneration, immunology, oncology, or cardiometabolic research communities.
  • Experience supporting global biopharma and large academic customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and work cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own the endtoend product strategy for the instrument platform, ensuring alignment across hardware, assays, consumables, and software.
  • Identify market trends, workflow gaps, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to guide innovation and longterm roadmap planning.
  • Lead integrated NPIs from concept through commercialization, including requirements definition, customer validation, feature prioritization, positioning, training readiness, and launch execution.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Software, Assay/Consumables, Program Management, Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing to ensure quality execution and delivery on performance, cost, and timeline goals.
  • Build strong relationships with KOLs, earlyaccess partners, and strategic customers to collect insights and drive adoption.
  • Champion the endtoend user experience across instrument operation, assay workflows, software usability, and data analysis.
  • Manage revenue, margin, demand planning, pricing strategy, and lifecycle performance for the platform.
  • Deliver business reviews, forecasts, and updates to leadership.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder groups, resolve conflicts, and ensure crossfunctional alignment to achieve business objectives.
